I don’t want to give too much away, because I like leaving space for artwork to be interpreted in your own way. But I will say this: growing up as one of three siblings, we all looked out for each other. At different times, each of us played the protector.

One of these emperor penguin chicks is a protector too. Dragging the younger sibling out of their slumber to admire the Aurora Australis, sharing in the beauty of their isolated environment.
