Commissions

So you want to transform how you feel in your space with something completely personal and unique to you?

Amazing! Here's what to expect during the commission process.

Step One:

Email correspondence or phone call to discuss your vision. You can send me specific reference images and we can talk about composition and colour palettes. If you don't have a vision of your own, we can work together to create one.

Once we've settled on a design and size, I will give you a quote. If you have a budget, we can work to this. This may mean limiting size or complexity, but I will always aim to create something that works for you.

Once you're happy with the quote, I will send you a contract outlining the terms and conditions and an expected timeline for your completed painting. To lock in your commission, you'll then need to pay a specified deposit.

Step Two:

Hooray! Your commission is now officially in progress! Over the next few weeks you'll receive regular updates with pictures and videos of your work in progress.

When your painting is complete, I'll send you some final photographs of all the details and texture. At this point, if there's anything you're not 100% satisfied with, you can request some alterations.

Step Three:

Once you're happy with the finished painting, you pay the final balance and your painting will be shipped to you, complete with certificate of authenticity.

Step Four:

Enjoy your new painting!

Additional information:

Interest-free payment plans are available if you prefer to pay in more than two instalments.

Lead times are typically 6-8 weeks, however most paintings are completed sooner than this.

Victory Column

Lilli & Jacob

Lilli & Jacob commissioned me to create something to celebrate their very first holiday together as a couple. Lilli sent me various reference images from their trip to Berlin, but gave me free reign to come up with a painting in my signature style. I used the German colours to capture the iconic view of Victory Column.

Sunrise in Bluebell Woods

Nicola

Nicola wanted a specific colour palette to go with her living room décor, but beyond this did not have a specific vision in mind. Looking through my existing portfolio she told me what elements she liked best and I took it from there to come up with a new landscape in a similar style.

A view of the Basilica

Joe & Julie

Joe & Julie wanted to celebrate their Maltese heritage with a Mediterranean explosion of colour. This is the preliminary sketch of their commissioned painting that will ultimately become a statement wallpaper mural for their kitchen. It's the view from their Maltese garden, looking up at the Basilica.
