Ray (King Penguin) *LIMITED EDITION PRINT*

This is Ray, a King Penguin. I've chosen Ray as his name not only because of the gorgeous rays of light in this piece, but as a little nod to my previous life as a Spanish teacher, with 'Rey' being the Spanish for King.

Although it's unlikely to witness the Aurora Australis at the same time as the sunset, the vivid rainbow colours in this painting inspire and bring joy. King Penguins are a thriving species, despite the harsh living conditions. Smaller than an Emperor Penguin, isn't Ray just a gorgeous happy chappy?
